GSAN Printer Driver FULL

First attempt.
1. Connect NCR printer to windows and let windows find the driver.
2. Download the NCR POS Printer Driver xxBit
3. Install the driver above and copy its location.
4. Go to control panel and add new Printer, select the detected port and select Have Disk and past the location copied in step 3.

Second attempt

1. When you connect the printer, you'll see the "New Hardware Wizard" - click on Next

2. Click on Search, Next, Specify Location, Next, then Browse. Go to c:\install\drivers\USB\ionncr.inf. Click on OK. If your terminal did not come with an operating system preloaded on it, and you've installed the operating system yourself, then you'll need go to NCR Retail Drivers and Patches to download the USB drivers.

3. Click on Next. Don't worry if you get a "Signature Not Found" message. If you do, click on Yes.

4. Click on Finish.

5. Reboot the 7456.

6. Create an NCR folder on your Windows Desktop and download the Windows drivers for the 7167 and 7197 from: NCR Retail Drivers and Patches and save the file to that NCR folder you just created. Run the self-extracting file and explode the files into this newly created folder.

7. Go to the Device Manager, then Ports, and note that there is now an EdgePort Serial Port (should be COM 6). At this point, the logical COM port exists for the 24V USB port, but the Windows driver for the printer connected to that port has not yet been installed.

8. Click on Start / Settings / Printers, then Add Printer. Select COM 6 (or the COM port that EdgePort assigned). Browse to the NCR folder on your Windows Desktop and select oemsetup.inf. Your printer will then successfully install. To test it, print some sample text from Notepad or just print a test print.
